André Audet, Chairman

Mr. Audet was formerly a Vice-President at BMO Nesbitt Burns specializing in private portfolios and mining investments from 1989-1999; he was also a Financial Advisor at Midland Doherty and Royal Trust from 1987-1989. Mr. Audet graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Major in Finance) from the University of Ottawa in 1982. Mr. Audet is a Certified Investment Manager (CIM) and possesses more than twenty years of experience in the financing of public companies.

Mr. Audet was one of the founders of Orezone Resources Inc., a mining company whose shares are publicly traded on the TSX as well as on AMEX. Mr. Audet is the Chairman of the Board of Majescor Resources Inc. & Adventure Gold Inc. as well as a Director of Mazorro Resources Inc., three publicly-traded junior mining exploration companies.  Mr. Audet is also a Director of Pediment Exploration Inc., a publicly-traded mining exploration company.

Michael Farrant

Mr. Farrant is a chartered accountant with 15 years of experience in gold mining, including President & CEO of Sierra Mineral Inc., a TSX listed Mexican gold producer after having served as CFO of a number of junior development stage and producing mining companies. During his 6 years with Barrick Gold Corporation and 3 years with Kinross Gold Corporation, he held progressively senior finance positions, including Vice-President and Treasurer of Kinross. He currently serves as President & CEO of Commonwealth Silver and Gold Mining Inc. and Buena Vista Gold Inc., private companies with projects in Arizona and Nevada, respectively. Mr. Farrant holds a Bachelor of Commerce with Honors, from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and earned his CA designation in 1995 while with Coopers & Lybrand.

Brooke Macdonald

Brooke Macdonald is President of Macdonald Consulting LLC, and an advisor on doing business in Latin America. For the past four years, Brooke was Vice President Legal Affairs of Skye Resources Inc. (Fenix nickel project, Guatemala) until its recent acquisition by HudBay Minerals Inc. He has more than 18 years experience in the mining industry, specializing in exploration and mine development joint ventures in Latin America, as legal counsel and as Placer Dome’s country manager in Venezuela. He is knowledgeable in corporate and mining law in North and Latin America, is a member of the New York Bar, and earned his law degree from Queen’s University in Ontario.
  

Daniel F. Hachey

Mr. Hachey is President and Chief Executive Officer of Majescor Resources Inc. He brings a strong investment banking background with over 23 years of experience in the capital markets, largely in the area of public equity financings and private placements. Mr. Hachey has also been active in the area of mergers and acquisitions and other advisory work. Mr. Hachey has held Board of Directors positions with both public ( NASDAQ, AMEX, TSX and TSX-V) and private companies.

Mr. Hachey has held senior investment banking positions with a number of firms, and has worked in Toronto, New York, and Montreal.

Mr. Hachey graduated from McGill University with an MBA degree in Finance in 1986. Prior to that he was enrolled in a Master of Science program at Université de Montréal after earning his B.Sc. degree from Concordia University in 1982.

  
John Hamilton Paterson

Mr. Paterson is a professional mining engineer who brings with him over 30 years of experience with both major and junior mining companies.  As President and CEO of junior mining companies between 1993 and 2007, he developed three heap leach gold operations in Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. Currently, Mr. Paterson also serves on the Board of Plato Gold Corp. and Columbia Metals Corporation Ltd.  Mr. Paterson holds both B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.

Dave Massola

Dave Massola joined GlobeStar in November 2006 as Vice President Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Massola is a graduate of University of California where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. He has over 25 years of experience in a broad range of financial functions including tax, business planning and analysis, treasury, corporate accounting and internal audit.

Prior to joining GlobeStar Mr. Massola was Chief Financial Officer of De Beers Canada Inc. At De Beers Canada he was in charge of all the financial aspects of the operations in Canada.

Previous to De Beers Mr. Massola spent 20 years with BHP-Billiton in various positions in Canada, Chile and the United States. He was Vice President of Finance of BHP-Billitons Ekati Diamond Mine from 1997 through 2001, responsible for the financial aspects of the mine from the construction period through commercial production. After serving in various financial functions in BHP-Billitons International Minerals office in San Francisco, California in the 1980s, Mr. Massola relocated to Port Hardy, British Columbia in 1989 where he was promoted to Chief Accountant of the Island Copper Mine. In early 1992 Mr. Massola relocated to the Escondida Copper Mine located in the Atacama region of Chile where he spent five years as Accounting and Treasury Manager.
