In May 2008, Everton announced the spin-off of 18 of its non-core James Bay properties to NQ Exploration Inc. in order to focus all Quebec exploration activities on the Opinaca region.  As a result of this Agreement, Everton currently holds 12 million common shares in NQ Exploration for an ownership position of 49.9%.  NQ Exploration completed its IPO  in April 2008, and its shares are traded on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol "NQE".
